Loads and unloads various pieces of mobile equipment before and after transportation. Roles & Responsibilities. Drive the truck to the destination safely and efficiently Operates various mobile equipment safely to load and unload it to and from the semi-trailer Maintain telephone or radio contact with the supervisor Maintain truck log according to state and federal regulations Responsible for daily pre-trip inspection of truck equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water Must oil, grease, service, and regular operating equipment adjustments May perform other related duties, such as lifting and moving transported materials We are covering/uncovering the load, changing wheels, and loosening/tightening lugs.
